Peter and Karen Lee immigrated to the United States in the early 70s to pursue educational opportunities and the American dream. After raising two children and sucesses in various other industries, Karen went back to her childhood agricultural roots and purchased a Bird of Paradise farm in 1991. Over the last 30 years, they have converted it to produce a wide variety of greens for the florwal arrangement industry. The farm remains, very much, a small family-run business and you will oftern see Karen and Perter tending to their plants most days of the week.
